About this project

This home was build in 1992 and had its original stairs. We removed the rug, prepared the substructure and installed all new components, even added a wider starting step to accommodate for the new square newels.

Description

Existing Staircase Proyect.

Change order:

Replace & Install:

1.) 4 1/2″ poplar white 2-posts [1] A-4075 with Oak brown top Cap will be on the bottom Double bull nose step and 3 1/2″ Poplar 3-white posts. [2] A-4076 with Oak brown Cap top will be on top 2nd floor.

2.) Replace & install all black Iron smooth Plain balusters, without twists.

3.) Handrails will remain same oak.

4.) Replace & install Square Oak Rosettes.

Front Staircase

1.) Remove existing carpet/runner.

2.) Replace & install Red Oak 14-Steps treads including bottom Double bull nose steps with White Risers (stop last step against existing carpet on 2nd floor.

3.) Replace & install Red Oak Landing treads with primed LWM432 3-1/2″ (gsc14) Sanitary apron moldings under 2nd floor balusters.

4.) Replace & install Red Oak 5-NEWEL POSTS

5.) Replace & install Red Oak 6010 handrails 30′

6.) Replace & install Black Iron 54-Balusters.

7.) Prepare, Stain, apply water based 3-coat polyurethane to all new Stained Grade Oak materials.

8.) Prepare, Paint with 2-coat semi-gloss paint new paint grade Risers & existing Stringers.

9.) Customer responsible to choose Stain, Polyurethane Finish & Paint colors from Sherwin-Williams or other

Brands. Matching 100% with existing colors, wood grain, polyurethane finish not guaranteed.
