I was also very impressed with his trim carpenters (artists, really) who hand-fitted the trim into my house perfectly. Their overriding goal was that I would be happy with the job they were doing. They changed trim at my request several times and were very helpful and polite. Likewise, the painters that Igor brought in to paint and caulk the wainscoting, beams and trim were excellent — true seasoned artisans and professionals who did a neat and superb job.
I found the cost of the job very reasonable, would absolutely contract with Igor and Home Trim Works again, and highly recommend them. And if you want to see the finished product — please stop by!
I originally called Igor Szczerba at Home Trim Works to add moldings around several untrimmed doors in my house. However, once Igor showed me pictures of what my house could look like with crown molding and new baseboards, ceiling beams in the family room, a coffered ceiling in the dining room, wainscoting in the hallways, living and dining rooms, and faux pillars separating several areas, I was totally hooked. Igor acted as my designer and the result is beautiful. Everyone who has walked into my house has immediately said, "Wow!"

HomeTrimwork did a great job on over 1,000 feet of trimwork in our home, including crown molding, double chair rail with framed panels, and special columns around our dining room entryway. They were timely, professional, cost-effective, clean and neat. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends and family.

From start to finish was nothing less than perfect. The quality of the work is outstanding. There isn't a person that walks into my house and doesn't immediately compliment to work I've had done so far (3pc built up crown, window/door headers). Always clean, quick and polite and I can't wait to get my next 2 projects started. A+++.

I was extremely happy with the gentleman who installed the crown molding (Alex). He was very professional, polite, and did a wonderful job. He is very talented, and had the job done in no time. He took care not to damage the walls or the carpets. I was very impressed by his skills, and how hard he worked.
I utilized HomeTrimwork to add crown molding in my kitchen and family room. The gentleman who came out to do the estimate was very polite and nice to work with. He offered suggestions, but was not pushy. He suggested using a 2 piece crown molding, and I am so glad I did because it looks so much better than what I had originally planned.

The Design Phase — this phase consisted of several inspirational pictures that I found in magazines and the internet. I presented these ideas to Igor and he had no problems with giving me the look that I was after.
The Installation Phase —when the installers arrived, again I gave them the pictures. Without having any blueprints to work from, they expertly scaled the design and customized every piece to fit our home and also match the design. This included custom built-ins with raised panel doors, a bridge that goes over the plasma TV and conncets both bookcases, all of the edging was custom on site. The plasma TV required that we cover the cables — so they designed a system with removable pieces but yet it frames the TV so beautifully. In the top of the cabinets, everything was finished and we even added the track lighting — it looks beautiful at night. The columns, with the header which consists of custom edging and design.
Final Thoughts — HomeTrim has the talent, expertise and more importantly the creative piece that can transform your home to look like your inspirations. Whether you communicate this via pictures, descriptions, etc... I'm confident that they can install it for you.
I had several projects that I needed done in my family room. First of all I wanted to mention that when I first met Igor, my intentions were only to get the trimework design completed around my French doors and palladium windows but after discussing the numbers he made it extremely affordable to do the built-ins around the fireplace with framing our Plasma TV, the round columns with a header dividing the eat-in kitchen from the family room.
